THE CABINS CORONA VIRUS: We are taking extra precautions disinfecting our cabins so that our guests can feel as safe as possible. There is plenty of space outside here for fresh air and to social distance yourself from others. Bean Creek Cabins await you for a fun and relaxing stay! Guests can enjoy sitting around a campfire, wildlife watching, playing horseshoes and incredible stargazing. Kids will enjoy playing in the main creek, catching crawdads, riding their bikes, treasure hunting, rock hounding and exploring. The property offers leisure walking and biking while the nearby Ouachita Mountains offer more hiking trails and extreme biking. Sorry, no ATV's allowed on the property without prior written approval. Caddo Gap, one mile away, offers canoe and tube rentals, historic site-seeing and access to the Caddo River. Be sure to stop in at the Gap Mercantile during your visit. Glenwood, which is just a short drive away, has shopping, dining, flea markets and golf. Hot Springs is about 50 minutes away via US Highway 70. Both cabins have kitchens furnished with a full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster oven, 2-burner hot plate, and coffee pot plus cookware, dishes, and utensils. Both cabins also have a barbecue grill, picnic table and fire pit so you can enjoy your meals outdoors if you prefer. PLEASE NOTE: We are in the beautiful woods of a Ouachita foothills where nature rules! Small bears, deer and turkey are common to see on the property and coyote can be heard howling at times. Cell phone service varies depending on your carrier and where you are on the property. If you choose to venture into ungroomed wooded areas on the property, be aware of snakes, insects, sharp rocks, and uneven terrain.
