THE CABINS
CORONA VIRUS: We are taking extra
precautions disinfecting our cabins so that our
guests can feel as safe as possible. There is
plenty of space outside here for fresh air and
to social distance yourself from others.
Bean Creek Cabins await you for a fun and
relaxing stay! Guests can enjoy sitting around
a campfire, wildlife watching, playing
horseshoes and incredible stargazing. Kids will
enjoy playing in the main creek, catching
crawdads, riding their bikes, treasure hunting,
rock hounding and exploring. The property
offers leisure walking and biking while the
nearby Ouachita Mountains offer more hiking
trails and extreme biking. Sorry, no ATV's
allowed on the property without prior written
approval.
Caddo Gap, one mile away, offers canoe and
tube rentals, historic site-seeing and access to
the Caddo River. Be sure to stop in at the Gap
Mercantile during your visit. Glenwood, which
is just a short drive away, has shopping,
dining, flea markets and golf. Hot Springs is
about 50 minutes away via US Highway 70.
Both cabins have kitchens furnished with a
full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster
oven, 2-burner hot plate, and coffee pot plus
cookware, dishes, and utensils. Both cabins
also have a barbecue grill, picnic table and fire
pit so you can enjoy your meals outdoors if
you prefer.
PLEASE NOTE: We are in the beautiful woods
of a Ouachita foothills where nature rules!
Small bears, deer and turkey are common to
see on the property and coyote can be heard
howling at times. Cell phone service varies
depending on your carrier and where you are
on the property. If you choose to venture into
ungroomed wooded areas on the property, be
aware of snakes, insects, sharp rocks, and
uneven terrain.
CREEKSIDE CABIN
Creekside Cabin has two bedrooms and the kitchen
dining area. The Master Bedroom has 2 queen beds,
a sitting area with a loveseat and television with wifi
streaming and DVD player. (Sorry, no cable or satellite
available). The Bunk Room is furnished with four
bunks and a full-size trundle couch and a large
television with wifi streaming and DVD player.
This is an authentic historic cabin built in the mid
1800's, therefore a bathroom was built adjoining the
cabin and includes an indoor and outdoor shower.
The cabin will comfortably house a family of 6-7, but
will sleep up to 9.
Experience dramatic rustic views from the covered
front porch swing or rocking chair. A fire pit, barbecue
grill and picnic table under party lights will make
evenings most enjoyable.
THE FARMHOUSE
The Farmhouse cabin is in the meadow with great views
and plenty of room to enjoy the nature and scenery. The
kitchen area, the dining and living room are downstairs.
The kitchen is equipped with table and chairs,
refrigerator, full sink, toaster oven, microwave, 2 burner
cooktop and most cooking utensils.
The living room has a sofa and large screen television
with wifi streaming and DVD player. (Sorry, no cable or
satellite available). Upstairs the Bedroom has two
queen beds, one double bed and one twin bed as well
as a big screen television with streaming and DVD
player.

BEAN CABIN
Bean Cabin is the largest of the three cabins. It is an
historic former mercantile with two levels which will sleep
up to nine comfortably. There is a full kitchen, living room,
dining room with gas log fireplace and main floor master
with en suite. Upstairs has two bedrooms and another
bath. Both levels have porches for enjoying the scenery,
fresh air and wildlife.
Bean Cabin was built in the mid 1800’s and has been
recently refurbished providing a rustic tranquil setting
blended with modern amenities allowing you to unplug as
much or as little as you like.
Enjoy the outdoors by relaxing on the porch swing, hiking
the trails, exploring the grounds, or chatting around the
large fire pit
